Getting started with the NDIS (National Disability Insurance Scheme) is a straightforward process designed to ensure you receive the support you need. If eligible, you can apply by filling out an Access Request Form, which can be done online, over the phone, or by mail. This meeting will help create your personalized NDIS plan. After your plan is approved, you can start accessing services and supports from registered NDIS providers. Throughout this journey, you can seek assistance from Local Area Coordinators (LACs) or NDIS planners to guide you through each step and ensure you make the most of your NDIS plan.
